    Enrol in a TRADE COURSE that educates you for an occupation that is on the Medium and Long Term Strategic Skills List.

    Graduate

    After your TRADE COURSE finishes, apply for a Graduate (Subclass 485) visa.

    This visa allows international students who completed their 2 academic years of studies in Australia to stay for 18 months.

    Skills Assessment

    While on your Graduate (Subclass 485) visa, complete your 12 months ‘Job Ready Program (JRP)’ through TRA.

    The JRP is an employment-based skills assessment program for international student graduates who hold an Australian qualification issued by a registered institution.

    After receiving a positive skills assessment, you may be eligible to apply for:

    1. Skills in Demand (Sub 482) visa

    2. Skilled Regional (Provisional) (Sub 491) visa

    3. Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Sub 494) visa, and

    If you have sufficient points for independent work visas such as (Subclass 189 or Subclass 190 visas).
